Watervliet is 7-2 against Lawton since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Panthers will challenge the Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Watervliet was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Gobles. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Lawton not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Lawrence with a sharp 3-0 win. The Blue Devils have beaten the Tigers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Watervliet's record is now 7-14-1. As for Lawton, their record now sits at 7-12-3.

Watervliet couldn't quite get it done against Lawton in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
