Soccer Recap: West Middlesex Takes a Loss

West Middlesex came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-0 to the Hickory Hornets. West Middlesex were not able to make up for their defeat to Hickory from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

West Middlesex dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

West Middlesex didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-1 defeat against Mercer on the 30th. As for Hickory, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-1 loss against DuBois on the 27th.
