Football Recap: Curry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Curry extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They took a blow against the Fayette County Tigers, falling 67-16. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Tigers are ranked 167th).

As for Fayette County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Considering they have won six matchups by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Fayette County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Maurice Harris out in front who rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Another signal caller making a difference was Jake Rickman, who threw for 127 yards and a pair of TDs.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Curry will square off against rival Dora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Fayette County is set to challenge their familiar foe Good Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
