Preview: Tipton vs. Sheridan
Tipton and Sheridan have both accumulated a number of blowout victories this season (Tipton has five and Sheridan has four), so it will be interesting to see how that plays out when they meet this Friday at 7:30 PM. The final score between Tipton and Northwestern last week was a 56 - 7 blowout in Tipton's favor. Meanwhile, Sheridan put the hurt on Taylor last week with a conclusive 64 - 13 victory.
Tipton got an early lead and maintained it, starting each quarter with an advantage. Junior Kj Roudebush was a big part of the win as his strong performance led the charge (he threw for 285 yards and five touchdowns). The victory bumped Tipton's record up to 6-0.
As for Sheridan, it started its game with a lot of points -- 57 points in the first half -- and coasted on that for the victory. Senior Joe Callahan deserves a lot of the credit as he earned five touchdowns and 126 yards rushing the ball. The win got Sheridan up to 5-1.
