Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop Riordan Crusaders vs. Presentation Panthers

The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders will challenge the Presentation Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Archbishop Riordan and three for Presentation.

On Thursday, Archbishop Riordan came up short against St. Ignatius College Preparatory and fell 3-1.

While Archbishop Riordan had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 18-25, 25-23, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Presentation also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Aptos by a score of 3-1.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Presentation, their loss dropped their record down to 7-23.

Archbishop Riordan took their victory against Presentation in their previous matchup on October 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Crusaders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
