Two dominant backs in Nick O'Brien and Bryce Sheldon are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Tri-County RVT Cougars will be playing at home against the Blackstone Valley RVT Beavers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-County RVT is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 36.5 points per game this season.

Tri-County RVT is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Worcester Tech 42-7. With the Cougars ahead 28-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

It was another big night for Declan Walker, who threw for 185 yards and three TDs on only 14 passes.

Another reason for the win was Tri-County RVT's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for ten sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Anthony Gagne and Matt Pinto, who racked up six sacks between them.

Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley RVT had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 21-16 W against the Minutemen.

The victory got Blackstone Valley RVT back to even at 5-5. As for Tri-County RVT, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
