Softball Recap: Murray County Comes Up Short

Murray County and Union County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Murray County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Murray County's loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Union County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season.
