Basketball Recap: Scott Central Takes a Loss

Scott Central lost against Clarkdale two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rebels took a 50-31 bruising from the Bulldogs.

Among those leading the charge was Cameron Crowell, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Wes Lewis, who posted ten points.

Scott Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Clarkdale, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Scott Central will take on Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clarkdale, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Noxapater at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
