Marquette Catholic came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Carrollton Hawks, falling 13-3. The Explorers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

Kennedy Eveans made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
