Basketball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park was the 70-66 winner over McKinney when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Scots fell 59-50 to the Lions on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for McKinney, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Highland Park will face off against Bowie at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for McKinney, they will head out to take on Birdville at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
