Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Orestimba). They put the hurt on the Modesto Panthers with a sharp 81-61 victory on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Warriors have posted since February 9th.

Devon Bell was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mathew Wales, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points.

Orestimba smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Orestimba's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Modesto, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Orestimba will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Riverbank at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Modesto, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-47 defeat against Patterson on the 21st.
