Recap: Seacrest Country Day Stingrays vs. Gateway Charter Griffins

Seacrest Country Day lost to Gateway Charter back in March of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Seacrest Country Day Stingrays skirted past the Gateway Charter Griffins 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for Seacrest Country Day.

Levi Pash made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Pash has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Pash was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.

In other batting news, Seacrest Country Day got a big performance out of Darien Prosser, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Like Seacrest Country Day, Gateway Charter also got a great game from a two-way player: Brandon Lackwood. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Lackwood was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

In other batting news, Aaron Constantinopoli stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
