Casey made his presence known in Legacy Charter's 12-1 victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Landon Casey stepped things up a notch to give Legacy Charter the 'W'. Casey was dialed in and struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He played a big game the last time he faced Lake Mary Prep, so the team probably should've seen him coming.
Casey and Legacy Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Casey has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 1.7 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Cornerstone Charter Academy has only allowed 3.24 per game this season.
