Basketball Recap: King George Foxes vs. Westmoreland Eagles
King George was the 45-39 winner over Westmoreland when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The King George Foxes fell 67-55 to the Westmoreland Eagles on Wednesday.
King George lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aiden Wright, who went 6 for 10 en route to 15 points plus six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Truslow, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
King George's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King George will welcome Leonardtown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Westmoreland, they will host Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
