Baseball Recap: Eastern Guilford Comes Up Short

Eastern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Southern Guilford Storm, falling 12-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Eastern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Southern Guilford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Eastern Guilford has already played their next contest, a 15-4 defeat against Western Alamance on the 3rd. As for Southern Guilford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Western Guilford on the 2nd.
