Volleyball Recap: West Broward Triumphs

West Broward saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Hialeah Thoroughbreds by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Broward took both sets by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0.

Their offense was headlined by Max Fischman and Lukas Chiarella, who picked up seven kills apiece. Fischman really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 26. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

The win got West Broward back to even at 1-1. As for Hialeah, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, West Broward and Hialeah will both be playing Monsignor Pace the next time they take the court. West Broward will head out to face Monsignor Pace at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Hialeah will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
