Preview: Mogadore Wildcats vs. Canton Central Catholic Crusaders
The Mogadore Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Canton Central Catholic took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Mogadore, who comes in off a win.
Mogadore took care of business in their home opener last Wednesday (barely). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Springfield and snuck past 47-45.
Mogadore can attribute much of their success to Brooklyn Mcintyre, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Ari Tompkins, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Canton Central Catholic was just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 34-33 to Field. Canton Central Catholic has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mogadore's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Canton Central Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Mogadore came up short against Canton Central Catholic when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 39-30. Can Mogadore avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
