Football Recap: Alex Comes Up Short

Alex had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it four. They were dealt a 48-3 loss at the hands of the Weleetka Outlaws. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, the Longhorns couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Weleetka, their record is now 10-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Weleetka's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Drake, who threw for 345 yards and six TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes. Thanks to that big game, Drake is now up to 31 passing touchdowns on the season. Bryant Sites also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Alex does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Weleetka, they will take on Shattuck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
