Football Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower fell victim to Piedmont and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 75-0 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Amir Jiles threw for 55 yards on eight of 23 attempts. Joshua Williams was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Piedmont, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eisenhower will venture away from home to face off against Northwest Classen at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Eagles will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Piedmont, they will head out on the road to take on Southmoore at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
