It was a good run, but Lisbon unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springville Orioles. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Orioles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Springville, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

Lisbon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Forest City on the 13th. As for Springville, they will face off against Alburnett at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
