Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian Find Success

Northwest Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Wishkah Valley on Saturday. The Wolverines came out on top in a nail-biter against the Loggers, sneaking past 1-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

Northwest Christian can attribute much of their success to Yulianna Espinoza, who had eight aces and two assists. Those eight aces gave Espinoza a new career-high.

Northwest Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Wishkah Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Northwest Christian has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Ocosta on the 11th. As for Wishkah Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Taholah on the 11th.
