Volleyball Game Preview: Dayton Pirates vs. Santiam Christian Eagles

Dayton hasn't had much luck against Santiam Christian recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Pirates will welcome the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Monday, Dayton beat Salem Academy 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Taft typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Santiam Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Tigers 3-0.

Santiam Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Dayton, their win bumped their record up to 17-4.

Dayton came out on top in a nail-biter against Santiam Christian in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
