Mira Mesa has gone a perfect 10-0 against Clairemont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Marauders will head out on the road to square off against the Chieftains at 6:15 p.m. Mira Mesa will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Wednesday, Mira Mesa made easy work of High Tech SD and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Clairemont posted their closest win since September 20th on Friday. They skirted past Canyon Hills 3-2. The game was the first time the Chieftains have beaten the Rattlers on their court since September 17, 2021.

Clairemont was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (106-102), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 18-25, 18-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Mira Mesa's record now sits at 20-14. As for Clairemont, their record is now 18-19.

Everything went Mira Mesa's way against Clairemont when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Mira Mesa made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
