Football Recap: Trel Broom Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Eunice

While Leesville's win against Eunice wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wampus Cats skirted past the Bobcats 36-34. The victory continues a trend for the Wampus Cats in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Leesville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trel Broom, who threw for 207 yards and five TDs on only 17 passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Broom has posted since back in October of 2024. Julius Brown was in the mix too, providing Leesville with three touchdowns.

Leesville's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Eunice, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
