Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Regents vs. Mercy Bears
Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Mercy Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 21-25, 25-11.
Mercy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Trehan, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Trehan has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Juliette Escobar, who had ten digs and two aces.
Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Mercy, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
