Recap: Finney Falcons vs. World of Inquiry Griffins
The Finney Falcons pushed their score all the way to 71 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 79-71 hit to the loss column at the hands of World of Inquiry. Finney lost against World of Inquiry in their previous head to head back in December of 2015, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 88-59 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead World of Inquiry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Yacoub Tarawally, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaedon Adams-Griffin, who scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds.
Finney's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for World of Inquiry, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Finney will challenge Fillmore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. World of Inquiry will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against School of the Arts at 6:30 p.m. on December 7th.
