Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Guilford Vikings, falling 40-14. On the bright side, the 14- point effort marked the J-Hawks' highest-scoring contest to date.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Guilford, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
