Basketball Game Preview: Oasis Sharks vs. Community School of Naples Seahawks

Oasis is 1-9 against Community School of Naples since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Sharks will head out on the road to challenge the Seahawks at 2:30 p.m. Oasis knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Community School of Naples likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Oasis earned a 65-52 win over Dunbar.

Oasis found their leader in sophomore Callhan Bexfield, who shot 53% from the field on his way to 26 points and eight rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for Bexfield. Another player making a difference was Austin Louzao, who posted 12 points and seven boards.

Oasis smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Community School of Naples came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Gators 70-53.

Oasis' record now sits at 6-0. As for Community School of Naples, their record is now 4-1.

Oasis couldn't quite finish off Community School of Naples when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 65-62. Thankfully for the Sharks, Brennan Ringhofer (who went 8-for-19 en route to 20 points and five rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
