Basketball Recap: Sunnyvale Comes Up Short

Sunnyvale was the 55-48 winner over Mineola when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sunnyvale now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mineola, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Sunnyvale will welcome Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mineola, they are taking a road trip to face off against Chapel Hill at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
