Basketball Recap: Selkirk Takes a Loss

If Selkirk was feeling good fresh off their 90-47 takedown of Columbia last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Selkirk Rangers fell 63-53 to the Inchelium Hornets on Tuesday. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Selkirk now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Inchelium, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Selkirk is taking a road trip to challenge Cusick at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Inchelium, they will square off against Northport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northport knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Inchelium likes a good challenge.
