Preview: Happy Camp Indians vs. Hayfork Timberjacks
After two games on the road, Happy Camp is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Hayfork Timberjacks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Happy Camp focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
Last Friday, Happy Camp was able to grind out a solid victory over Dunsmuir, taking the game 54-47.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Happy Camp to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luis Osorio, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Jason Day was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Hayfork came up short against CORE Butte on Wednesday and fell 60-52.
Happy Camp's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Hayfork, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Everything went Happy Camp's way against Hayfork when the teams last played back in February as Happy Camp made off with a 51-27 win. Will Happy Camp repeat their success, or does Hayfork have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
