Football Recap: Emporia Spartans vs. Manhattan Indians
Friday just wasn't the day for Emporia's offense. They were beaten by the Manhattan Indians 59-0 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost nine in a row.
It was another big night for Kha'Mario Davis, who rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries for Manhattan. That's the most rushing yards Davis has posted since back in October of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydin Hudley, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns.

As for Manhattan, they will welcome Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 988 yards in their previous games.
