Baseball Recap: Camas Valley Takes a Loss

Camas Valley came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-5 to the Oakridge Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 two weeks ago.

Camas Valley suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 3-5. As for Oakridge, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camas Valley will face off against Umpqua Valley Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oakridge, they will square off against Lowell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
