Football Game Preview: Palmer Ridge Bears vs. Dakota Ridge Eagles + How To Watch

The Palmer Ridge Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Dakota Ridge Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are still undefeated after 13 games, but that won't be the case come Saturday.

Palmer Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 31-29 victory over Montrose. Palmer Ridge's win was all the more impressive since the Red Hawks were averaging only 11.69 points allowed on the season.

Palmer Ridge got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Harris out in front who threw for 182 yards and a pair of TDs, and also rushed for 44 yards. Another receiver making a difference was Zak Crisler, who picked up 54 receiving yards.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Dakota Ridge took down Heritage 31-14. Dakota Ridge pushed the score to 28-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Heritage cut but never quite recovered from.

Palmer Ridge's record now sits at 13-0. As for Dakota Ridge, their record is now an identical 13-0.

We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Palmer Ridge has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 390.8 total yards per game. However, it's not like Dakota Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 385.9 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.

Palmer Ridge strolled past Dakota Ridge in their previous matchup back in November of 2015 by a score of 39-21. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Eagles' Jeremy Lujan, who rushed for 122 yards and three touchdowns.
