Mariemont had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bethel-Tate Tigers a 9-0 shutout. Give Mariemont's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their offense was hitting Bethel-Tate from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Henry Brown led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Mariemont's victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1. As for Bethel-Tate, they now have a losing record of 7-8-3.

Looking ahead, Mariemont will host Roger Bacon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethel-Tate does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
