Basketball Recap: Exeter-Milligan/Friend Comes Up Short at Home Against Thayer Central

Exeter-Milligan/Friend unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Thayer Central Titans 50-19 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite the loss, Exeter-Milligan/Friend saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Tori Bresson posted six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Exeter-Milligan/Friend will face off against Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thayer Central, they will venture away from home to take on Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
