Softball Recap: Omaha Central Eagles vs. Columbus Discoverers
Omaha Central extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 9-8. They took a 14-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbus Discoverers. Even if the Eagles couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Nichole Palfini made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
