Basketball Game Preview: Benjamin Buccaneers vs. Saint Andrew's Scots

The Benjamin Buccaneers will head out on the road to challenge the Saint Andrew's Scots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Benjamin strolled past Morningside Academy with points to spare, taking the game 72-54.

Tristan Cameron was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 57% from beyond the arc on his way to 31 points and five rebounds. Those 31 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Buchanan, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards.

Benjamin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morningside Academy only pulled down four.

Meanwhile, Saint Andrew's won against Wellington on Friday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Scots secured a 65-61 W over Dwyer.

Benjamin's record now sits at 3-0. As for Saint Andrew's, their record is now 5-1.

Benjamin was dealt a bruising 78-42 loss at the hands of Saint Andrew's in their previous matchup back in January. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Buccaneers were down 44-23.
