Baseball Recap: Spencer Takes a Loss

Spencer lost against Hardaway back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spencer Greenwave lost 16-3 to the Hardaway Hawks. The Greenwave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spencer saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elijah Fudge, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that Fudge hit this season.

Spencer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Hardaway, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Spencer will head out to face off against Jordan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Spencer is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Hardaway, they will welcome Kendrick at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Kendrick has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with ten straight losses, while Hardaway will come in with three straight wins.
