It was a good run, but Fruitport unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Greenville Yellow Jackets.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Fruitport had strong showings from Porter Johnson, who had 12 digs and two assists, and Alexa Sweet, who had three digs and two aces.

Fruitport's loss dropped their record down to 30-13-1. As for Greenville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-13-2.

Fruitport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenville, they will face off against Sparta at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
