Basketball Recap: Oxford Prep Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oxford Prep lost against Durham School of the Arts back in November of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Griffins took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Craig Griffin was a one-man wrecking crew For Durham School of the Arts. as he posted 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony McDonald, who put up eight points and six assists.

Oxford Prep has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Durham School of the Arts, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Oxford Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-28 win against Kerr-Vance Academy on the 21st. As for Durham School of the Arts, after both having extra time off, they and Cristo Rey Research Triangle will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on December 3. The Bulldogs will be up against the Bulls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 69.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
