Football Recap: Marysville Falls Despite Big Games from Andrew Salguero and Joshua Adams + How To Watch

Marysville extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 4-6. They came up short against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras, falling 42-18. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 665th, while the Fighting Zebras are ranked 306th).

Joshua Adams and Andrew Salguero certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Adams gained 111 total yards, while Salguero gained 120 total yards. Israel Rabago handled things on the ground, rushing for 92 yards.

As for Lincoln, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Considering they have won five matchups by more than 23 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Eli Duff produced another solid effort throwing for 195 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punching in one score on the ground. What's more, he racked up 154.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Mason Volzer was another key player, picking up 72 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

As of now, neither Marysville nor Lincoln have any future games scheduled.
