Basketball Recap: Rehobeth Comes Up Short on the Road Against Gulf Shores

Rehobeth had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 56-35 to the Gulf Shores Dolphins on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 47-16 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Rehobeth still got an impressive performance from Naynay Barron, who shot 4-for-6 from long range and dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten rebounds. Kharlasja Brunson was another key player, putting up seven points and ten boards.

Looking ahead, Rehobeth won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Guntersville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gulf Shores, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Hartselle at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
