Soccer Recap: Weymouth Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Weymouth has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wellesley Raiders. Weymouth fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Wellesley since Thursday.

Weymouth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Wellesley, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Weymouth will face off against Silver Lake Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wellesley, they will square off against Brookline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
