Volleyball Recap: Academy of the Holy Names Comes Up Short

Academy of the Holy Names lost against La Salle Institute back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Academy of the Holy Names fell 3-1 to La Salle Institute. Academy of the Holy Names has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Academy of the Holy Names actually scored more points across those four sets (93-91), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 26-24, 15-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Academy of the Holy Names' loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for La Salle Institute, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-3 record this season.

Academy of the Holy Names will look to defend their home court on Monday against Voorheesville at 6:00 p.m. As for La Salle Institute, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Albany Academy on the 23rd.
