Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Victorious

If Greenwich wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. Joseph, they should've done a better job of containing TJ Wright. The St. Joseph Cadets walked away with a 70-63 victory over the Greenwich Cardinals on Wednesday thanks in part to Wright, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Febus, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 16 points and four steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Greenwich, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

St. Joseph will host Ridgefield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenwich, they will head out to challenge Wilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
