Softball Game Preview: Brandywine Bobcats vs. Bridgman Bees

For the first time this season, Brandywine will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to square off against the Bridgman Bees at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Brandywine knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Bridgman likes a good challenge.

Brandywine is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on River Valley with a sharp 11-1 victory on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Bridgman and Coloma finished up their game with a 9-9 tie on Wednesday.

With that draw, Bridgman's record moves to 3-0-1. As for Brandywine, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything went Brandywine's way against Bridgman in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Brandywine made off with a 15-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
