Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Frankton + How To Watch

Frankton put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Tipton Blue Devils by a score of 48-36. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 43-42 win the Blue Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frankton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trey Bennett, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. The matchup was Bennett's third in a row with at least 16 points. Ashton Brobston was another key player, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Frankton's record is now 3-0. As for Tipton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankton will square off against Monroe Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tipton, they will face off against Western at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
