Football Recap: Williamson Beats Elmore County for Their 11th Straight Win + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Williamson had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 42-14 victory over the Elmore County Panthers. Considering the Lions have won ten matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Todrick Withers, who rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 115 rushing yards. John Austin did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 131 receiving yards.

The win keeps Williamson at an undefeated 11-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average this season. As for Elmore County, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Williamson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 41-10 win against Montgomery Catholic on the 21st. Elmore County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
