Baseball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 16-0 to the Sioux City East Black Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Black Raiders this season, with their most recent loss being a 9-2 defeat on Thursday.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Sioux City East, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Jefferson will venture away from home to take on Le Mars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sioux City East, they will host MOC-Floyd Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
